DASU is fortunate to have a team of highly qualified and experienced staff, as well as a bank of skilled sessional staff and trained volunteers who support the organisation in a variety of ways.
Independent Domestic Violence Adviser
Criminal Justice System (CJS IDVA)
Victoria has worked for the charity for over 25 years and is a founder member. She is currently employed as an Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) and her work mainly involves supporting clients where there are criminal proceedings. She is also a trained Independent Sexual Violence Advisor. Victoria holds the Diploma in Counselling and is a member of the BPS. She has experience of all areas of DASU work and spent many years working in the Refuge. She has been a member of the Local Safeguarding Board, and is currently a member of the Crown Prosecution Local Scrutiny and Involvement Panel.
